Inconsistencies in the First Bitcoin Revshare Site
Upon visiting the First Bitcoin Revshare website, users a greeted with a large marquee that takes up almost the entirety of the browser window.
This marquee is seemingly underwhelming as two of the three pieces of content on it is a rotating trophy and an inspirational image.
However, the third thing on it is a rather large claim of being the first ever Bitcoin revenue sharing platform online. Due to the sizable influx of similar sites, it would be a rather hefty task to prove the truthfulness of this claim.
However, seeing as it was established back in June 2016, there may actually be an inkling of truth to this. There is also a link to their Facebook group at the top of the site, boasting over 4,000 members.
After that, unfortunately, it may all come crumbling down for the First Bitcoin Revshare site due to the inconsistencies on their pages. Below the previously mentioned marquee are statistics, which state that this platform has already paid out over 353 BTC, equivalent to almost $900,000, to its over 14,000 registered members.
The problem with this is despite these exorbitant figures, there is no evidence to back them up. Aside from that, doing an extensive search will yield no honest reviews, from the site’s thousands of supposed members, to support these claims.
The people behind First Bitcoin Revshare also claim that their site has almost 10 million views in just over a year of its existence. While the site is popular in the Czech Republic, which could be its place of origin, its global ranking has gradually fallen over the past couple of months.
According to their Alexa ranking – a standing of the world’s top websites based on visits – they are currently the 62,338th most visited website in the entire world as of the time of writing, having fallen over 12,000 spots since the last ranking was announced.
Despite the recent interest surrounding online, work from home jobs from large news outlets, First Bitcoin Revshare has not even been mentioned by even local news sources. Aside from their own aforementioned group on Facebook, they have not generated much buzz on social media either.
Up next on the First Bitcoin Revshare landing page are the supposed features the platform offers to its members. They feature their “high referral commission as per membership” as well as having the cheapest advertising packages on the entire planet.
They also claim that they provide their members with multiple ways of earning. What is suspicious about this is that later on in the page, First Bitcoin Revshare points out that they are focused on Bitcoin.
This may confuse people into thinking that they are getting into a platform, which invests their bitcoins in order to turn a profit.
A possible explanation for this scheme is that most online investment platforms need to sell a product in order to be considered legitimate. If they do not have a product for sale, their website may be taken down in an instant and their platform labeled as a scam.
One of the biggest red flags a site like First Bitcoin Revshare can have is the lack of information regarding who is behind its operation. The problem with this is that when a person does not make the amount of money he or she expects, or in an instance that that person makes a loss on their investment, they will not know who to point their finger.
The support page states that all tickets are sent to a company e-mail and not to a single person, which may mean that not even this email address could be traced to a single person. There is also no information available regarding who registered First Bitcoin Revshare in the first place.
Can You Actually Make Money From This?
Make no mistake that revenue sharing and ad selling can actually make a person some money. However, it may not always be the big amounts sites like this one are promoting.
In fact, taking a look at the payouts page of the First Bitcoin Revshare site reveals that most members withdraw bitcoin amounts equivalent to only about 2.5 to 10 U.S. dollars. This means that most of the money they make comes from other sources such as referrals.
If these shown statistics turn out to be true, the fact that they even show off all of the payouts their platform makes is extremely dangerous, especially for the highest earning members. The payouts section of the site also shows that there are large intervals of time, as much as two weeks, that not a single withdrawal was made despite the supposed easiness of the money making process on this platform, coupled with the given low minimum withdrawal requirement.
Another suspicious thing about this part of the website is that it shows that even though First Bitcoin Revshare claims that their platform is among the easiest to make money off of, a lot of their supposed users choose to withdraw only the minimum amount of .001 BTC or $2.5. A considerable number of the payments are also suspicious because they are made by the same person all on the same day, but all of their withdrawals are of the minimum amount.
Why wouldn’t they just withdraw it all at once? This could implicate these “payment proofs” as nothing more than falsified data. For members who understand that they are getting into a revenue sharing program instead of an investment platform, First Bitcoin Revshare also provides an explanation as to how their service works.
Unfortunately, this part of their homepage is littered with large words and technical terms that may be difficult to understand for the layperson who wishes to use this platform as a way to make additional income. To explain it simply revenue sharing utilizes advertisement packages or “ad packs” that people post all over the Internet.
These are links that lead to a certain product that may be purchased. The only way for a person working under a revenue sharing program to make money is for other people to click on their links and purchase the product it directs to or refer other members and receive a portion of their money.
This is where the major problem with most, if not all, revenue sharing platforms come in. They are designed to make it seems as though people are certain to make sizable profits if they join. Some even make hefty promises that seem too good to be true.
In reality, it would be challenging for a person without a strong online presence to work in this field because there is a small chance that someone will give notice to their link, let alone purchase the product being promoted. They may also not have the capacity to bring in other potential members through a referral system.
If new members do not invest money, then First Bitcoin Revshare loses one of their larger income-generating channels. In fact, there is a large section of the site, referred to as the “Banner Ads Hub,” which feature what are most probably paid ads in an attempt to make extra money to keep the site going.
While they do claim in their frequently asked questions page that their service is not a mere Ponzi scheme, similar sites have been known to use ad selling as a cover up for this to keep their operation legal and running for as long as possible, as was previously mentioned.
The value of Bitcoin also changes quite frequently. While this may be a risk a number of people are willing to take, people must also realize that the value of a cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin fluctuates at a much greater rate compared to say, the United States dollar. If the people behind this platform play their cards right, they may even make a sizable profit off of their members from these fluctuating exchange rates.
Conclusion
Again, it is most certainly possible to make money from this platform. However, it will certainly not be as big as the people behind it are promising. There are other methods to make more money online, and although these may take more time and effort considerably, this investment will pay dividends better.
