What is Dollars Plug?
Dollars Plug is perhaps one of the most plainly designed online work platforms available, and that is by no means a good thing in this case. This is very similar to Cash East.
The fact that the people behind the site do not want to reveal how their service works before users sign up should already raise suspicions.
For those whose doubts have not yet been piqued; however, this site claims to be able to pay its members as much as $10 for accomplishing a single, simple task sounds which offered also in Dollar Tell.
However, there is no indication available on the site regarding what kind of tasks these will be.
Apparently, it takes less than ten seconds to complete each of these tasks.
However, it is highly unbelievable that any legitimate company would pay anyone $10 to complete something that can be accomplished in a matter of seconds.
To generate income on this site, one has to post a given link, sometimes to the point of spamming.
This referral link can be posted on forums, blogs, as well as different social media platforms, and when someone clicks on these links that is the time when a member of the site make money.
If no one clicks on this link; however, the member who posted it does not make any money whatsoever.
At times, it would prove to be difficult for people to get their linked click if they do not have much influence on the previously mentioned platforms in which their links can be posted.
It would also be hard for any program to pay this large of an amount simply for clicking on a link.
Usually, a link posting and affiliate marketing work only if the person who clicked on an affiliate’s link also purchases the product which that link redirects to.
Members of the site may see their balance on the site increasing on a steady basis, but this account does not represent how much they will be paid.
Having a false counter on how much money a person supposedly makes is a common strategy used by scam sites to entice people to work on a continuous basis.
In fact, this counter goes up even if the member does not share their link and earnings are made even if a member clicks his or her own link.
They claim that members are getting paid for driving traffic to other sites paying for advertising, but visiting the referral links provided merely redirects to this questionable site’s landing page.
This site claims it is paying out up to $6,000 every month to a number of its members, and those who believe this may continue to work on this platform to achieve this amount.
A list of false payment proof is another strategy commonly used by sites like these to try to add legitimacy of their site.
If these were true payouts, it would be completely unethical and dangerous, as a considerable amount of the site’s supposed users utilize their actual names or website URLs as their usernames.
Luckily, all of these proofs of payments are just made up data, similar to many, if not all, of the statistics available on this site.
Time to Withdraw Earnings
In line with this, some members may see that their account balance has reached the minimum for withdrawal amount of $300.
However, when they request for their money, they would first have to complete a certain survey off a list.
These are paid surveys, and some members may already begin doubting the legitimacy of this site because of this, but those who continue are in for an unpleasant experience.
The people behind this platform will get all the money garnered by the paid survey as the member will not be paid their commission for doing the surveys.
Once a person completes this survey as their payment is confirmed, they would be expecting that their money will come to them as soon as possible, but this is not the case.
No matter how many times a person asks for withdrawal and completes a survey, they will not receive even a small percentage of their money.
Another way that this site avoids having to pay its members is through false strikes.
A person could potentially get their account banned if they drive “false traffic,” which is an empty threat as previously evidenced in this review, as members can visit their own links and have their listed earnings go up.
Another example of this is that if a person remains inactive for 30 days their account will be terminated, which forces them to continue working as they wait for their supposed payment.
However, as they grow tired, they may stop working for the site and have their account terminated due to inactivity.
Red Flags and Inconsistencies
As mentioned before, this website is particularly barren. It lacks the necessary explanations regarding how the site works to make its members money as well as how they get paid.
- No Email Validation
However, once a person has signed up, the inner workings of the site are revealed. It is worth mentioning that despite providing the site with invalid data such as a non-existent email address, it will still provide anybody access to the beef of the platform.
This could serve as proof that the people behind this platform are merely after unsuspecting potential members information, as sometimes these are the same ones they use for their PayPal and other online banking accounts.
People can also sign up as many times as they want, which is hard to believe is possible for a link sharing site. Legitimate affiliate link posting and marketing sites do not condone this sort of activity to avoid their service being labeled as a scam.
- Questionable Payment Amount
The site’s dashboard contains a referral link, which once shared, supposedly makes a person $5 to $10 for every unique visitor.
However, other statements on the exact same page are inconsistent with this, as they blatantly claim that $10 is the set amount to be made every time someone new clicks on the link that a member has posted.
- Huge Sign-up Bonus for Nothing
This platform also apparently provides the users with a hefty signing bonus of $25 for doing absolutely nothing, just for signing on to the service.
Unfortunately for new members, this is nothing to get excited about, as the people behind this platform probably have no plans of paying out even a small portion of this amount.
The statistics featured all over this site are sizable causes for concern. A prime example of this is the “earned” and “paid” figures posted at the top of this platform’s landing page.
These figures change every time a person visits or refresh the site, and the amount featured either goes up or down on a random basis.
- Discrepancy in Data
Usually, there is also a large discrepancy between the two, such as thousands of dollars being paid out, but not earned and vice versa.
The site’s dashboard also lists off some countries whose members are supposedly the highest earning of all time.
For example, members from the US have earned $25,000 plus since the site’s inception; however, this is quite suspicious as the site claims that it can pay out as much as over $80,000 every single day.
The reason the amount is listed as such is that it is fake and has the sole purpose of adding to the site’s feeble attempt to add a shred of legitimacy to itself.
By claiming that these members have made somewhere over a certain amount also saves them time and effort by avoiding having to update the site.
- Unknown Founder
This site does not reveal who is behind it, most probably to avoid prosecution in the event of a legal complaint.
Also, there is no contacts page available, so it would be difficult for members to get support or ask questions when their suspicions begin to arise.
The link to the terms and conditions page of this site is also broken; that or the page may not even exist at all in the first place.
Also, there is no link available for the frequently asked questions page despite there is a text stating that there is one.
Conclusion
SCAM!
There is no value offered on this site as it is a blatant scam. I do not even recommend you put any personal information on this site to avoid identity theft.
I hate people getting scammed as I was a victim of a scam also and I find it an obligation to warn people about scams online.
People tend to find the quickest way to make money online, and this mindset is what the scammers manipulate to make money.
There is no quick way to make money online, and you should treat online business just like any business. You have to work on it to make it happen.
The only advantage in online business is it does not require a lot of money as capital like in a physical brick and mortar business.
There are much more, legitimate online work platforms available that actually pay their members the money that they deserve.
Hopefully, people learn how to differentiate scam sites from trustworthy ones so they may not be tricked in the future.

Wow! These guys seem to be the kind you definitely want to stay away from. The really scary part is when a member comes calling for the money earned and they never get it.
This is about as fraudulent as you can get. Does anybody ever get paid? This seems like the kind of predatory make money program that takes advantage of those people who have fallen on hard times and are desperate for anything that will get them income.
Quick question: I didn’t see it on here, but does one have to join and pay a fee to join this outfit. Good info and passionate opinion. Thanks. Warren

Hi Warren,
It is free to join this platform and one might wonder how on earth could it become a scam when it is free. They are just fishing for emails hoping that they can get a match on the users Paypal account so they can hack the account.
As usual, nobody gets paid here.
Thanks for the comments,
Den

Nice review! It’s definitely good that you’ve made people aware of this scam. I honestly wouldn’t know at first glance so you can see why it’s so easy for people to fall for things like this.
It’s amazing the amount of scams like this on the internet, and the number of people that they trick! The more honest reviews like this one, the better. Keep them coming!

Hi Stephen,
There are so many scams online, and I feel I have to do something about as I myself was a victim of an online scam.
It will also give a false signal to people that everything online is a scam. There are legitimate businesses online and we just have to filter the bad ones.
Thanks for the comments,
