MySurvey.com is a survey website that pays every person who shares an opinion to a given product. My Survey was established way back 2001 by the National Family Opinion(NFO).
It has the vision of digitizing product ‘s opinion research. NPO is considered as one of the oldest and established opinion research platform all over the United States.
MySurvey owner decided to dispose it to Lightspeed Research, a company of WPP, credible consumer services company, led by, Ms. Erin Newton and Ms.Catherine Laraway.
How Does it Work?
After having a verified account, you then can start answering surveys. It always varies, few surveys need tangible product trial of which yields higher rewards.
The products to be tested will be delivered right to your door. When you reach a certain threshold, time for you to redeem it with a cash or vouchers, you can choose.
How Do I Join?
MySurvey is free, and all it asks is a valid email address, a physical postal address and creating the profile with its significant entries such as the age, household information, and possible income.

What is great about MySurvey

Easy peasy! You can withdraw your hard labored earned points through PayPal, gift certificates or voucher.

What I don’t like about MySurvey
No doubt, MySurvey used to be the apple of the eye and not until they sold it to Lightspeed Research in 2010. Lightspeed adds insult to the injury! They made MySurvey much worse than it was.
- No customer support.
I have a nightmare with this, some days of inactivity means shutting down my account and naturally I need to run to the customer service. If you encountered some issue with your account then never mind calling the number provided on the contact tab. They are useless.
- A bunch of emailed survey invitation.
You bet! Endless emails are coming. How many emails will you qualify for out of the batch? Sometimes you will reach the point of unsubscribing from their emails or worst you will decide to delete your account from them.
- You’re outcasted which means no more invitations for you.
As been explained earlier, the minimum thresholds are $10 but when you are near to your $10, the harder it turns to get a survey. All of the sudden, you are no longer receiving the bulk of survey invites, and this will make the minimum payout impossible to reach.
- They will close your account for inactivity.
If you are not active with the platform, they will not take your excuses, even if you are sick and they will cut you off.
- Qualifying for surveys is tough.
Sometimes you spend time answering presurvey questions then you ended up not qualified for the survey and wasted your time. Sometimes you have done more than half of the survey, but you still end up not qualified.
- The pay is not worth your time.
This business model is not a good way to make money online as you are just wasting your time when there are other platforms where you can make serious money from your effort.
Is MySurvey a Scam?
MySurvey has ruined its excellent reputation and would be impossible to recommend them now. They have nothing left after all these Red Flags.
It takes a decade to reach the minimum amount of payouts. My take, never mind wasting your time if you can’t work the daily as they required.
They will automatically hide and shut down your account, not considering those hard-earned points unlike other websites wherein they usually send you major account reminder via email.
For now, it is a big NO NO to sign up for My Survey. It is a big waste time of money and effort. Some companies value and protect their reputation and will never rip off your points while you take a break.
