If you want to be independent, you have to run your own online business. There are sets of skills required just like any business. You also need a website.

Once it is set-up, it is better to monetize a website than doing online jobs. You could do email marketing or affiliate marketing which are both proven to be rewarding.

It is easier than you think as I started this business without any knowledge of building websites or running an online business.
