This was a great overview of affiliate marketing and answers a lot of the questions I had when I first started looking into it. I have to agree with you that wealthy affiliate is a great resource for beginners but a word of warning for the beginners would be to make sure you stay on top of what you are doing as it can get overwhelming at times when you are trying to take in so much information. Don’t constantly put yourself down if you aren’t doing as well as someone else. Keep your head up and push through the bad times, you’ll be that much happier when you finally get that much awaited success.

I looked into affiliate marketing or niche marketing nearly ten years ago, but I didn’t follow through with my interest because it seemed pretty overwhelming.
Fast forward to today, I thought I really need some motivation and I would really like a decent place to start where I could really see the value to the program.

It seems to me that Affiliate marketing is really on the rise and there are tons of affiliate marketers out there. The market seems to be saturated already, but the truth is that I think approx. 2-3 billion people are going to be online this year. The market is getting huge beyond our imagination. I like the principle of affiliate marketing. One of the things that attracts me most to this sort of business, is that one does not have to recruit anyone to make a sale or stock any expensive products. That is really awesome.
