What is Survey Say?
Just like any other survey sites out there, the people behind the website seems to be focusing more on their hyped up advertisements about earning potential figures by using the website.
But the sad truth is, they don’t seem to give a care on providing people the correct information about what the website is all about and misinformation, is what most members complain about the website.
First off, the website is not a survey site, though it may seem weird considering that they are talking about providing surveys-for-cash to people.
But, the truth is, this website is more of a middleman that connects survey takers to different survey sites. In simple term, the site itself will not pay you for registering.
Instead, you will get paid for every survey you successfully completed on the third-party websites that this primary website is recommending.
The website is founded in 2008 and according to the data gathered, their business office is based in Herndon, Virginia.
But as for the information about the identity of their founders or the people who are managing the website, these data were all well kept hidden.
My first instinct is to think that they might be hiding something. After all, that’s the only logical reason that would explain why they chose to keep their identity, right?
How Does the Website Work?
As what I have revealed earlier this website does not conduct their own survey nor provide surveys to people. They link survey takers to numerous sites that do the other side of the deal.
First, you need to create an account with them. The process is pretty simple, just provide the correct information on their online membership form, click submit and you’re good to go.
But again, don’t expect to actually find surveys once you’re in because that’s not going to happen. But expect numerous links to different survey sites where your job will formally start.
Once you click the survey site link, you will be taken to the third party website wherein you could sign up for membership and start earning a few bucks in their survey tasks.
You could sign up to all survey sites available because this will give you a higher chance of getting surveys. The site had links to the following survey sites:
Global Test Market- You may choose to claim your payments via PayPal or check.
I-Say– They transfer your money to Bank deposit and gift cards.
MySurvey- This site offers more payout claiming methods such as PayPal transfer, bank transfer, and gift cards.
Opinion Outpost– claim your payout via PayPal and Gift cards.
Que Opinas– Link not working.
It might be confusing to most people who are used to the usual type of online survey. Your pay will vary depending on each site.
As we all know, the availability of every survey depends on your suitability with the survey questionnaires, but once you reach the minimum withdrawal limit of each site, you’ll be able to withdraw your earnings eventually.
The Red Flags
Before tackling the cons, let’s talk about its pros first. The only good thing about this website is that it comes free for all.
Meaning, you don’t have to pay a single cent or put your credit card at risk because this site is open and free to all those who want to give it a try.
But, this free deal is not worth all the risks that might happen in the end. If you’ve encountered the complaints from other existing members, you could tell that your information is not safe here.
They may or may not sell your information to a third party. This possibility is creepy itself and could pose a potential threat to your personal life.
This site may not be listed with the BBB yet but as of writing this review, I encountered complaints from eager hearts to report this website as a SCAM.
It’s Not Available Worldwide
Here’s the weird part. People from all over the globe can access Survey Say but most of their third-party survey sites do not cater to people from all parts of the world.
Only Global Test Market and Opinion Outpost are the only websites working globally and Que Opinas link is not working.
This means that even if you signed yourself up for all the available third party sites that they have, there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to get at least a survey per day because most of these third-party surveys choose participants from a certain geographical area.
So don’t wonder if you don’t get many surveys in six months because most of their surveys are targeted towards a certain area.

I Bet You Hate Spams
Remember what I’ve Saud earlier about the possibility of selling your personal information? Well, it’s not only that. If you’ve noticed, during account registration, the site didn’t ask you to create a unique password for your account safety, right?
This is enough to stir some doubt, but most legit sites require a password and they don’t even tolerate weak ones. They insist and sometimes they make it a strict policy that their members create a unique password and encourage them to change it after a few months to ensure their identity protection.
But why does this site doesn’t require you to set up a password? Simply because they just want to get your email address. But why?
Most members complain that they receive spammy emails after registering into the website. And this is the very definite reason that answers the sites inability to require a password.
As we all know, sending spammy emails is not good for any business. Aside from being illegal, it ruins your reputation. So, I will say that this website is RISKY!
Is Survey Say Legitimate?
It is legitimate but it is not a good source of income as the pay would be too low. You may use its third-party survey sites as a way to earn extra income. But that’s if your geographical location matches with most of their target takers.
If you’re planning to quit your full-time day job just for this, then I would highly recommend not to do so. Even if it’s third-party sites pays for real, these will not be enough to compensate your daily needs. The rate of 50 cents per survey is not enough and definitely not worth quitting your day job.
This may work as a productive hobby but not as a primary income generating means. Its surveys are low paying which doesn’t compensate your efforts and hard work enough.
So Is Survey Say a Scam?
I would not tag this as a SCAM since it does not involve spending upfront fees just to get full pass access to the system, but I highly doubt its trustworthiness.
If you’re familiar with affiliate marketing, then you would see the similarities. This site is apparently using the affiliate marketing scheme to earn. They promote other sites and earn a part of the pie for every person they bring to each site.
Though there’s nothing wrong with the scheme, the fact that they’re advertising themselves as a survey site makes them fraudulent.
Because the truth is, this is not a survey site but rather an affiliate sales page that connects potential members to their affiliated businesses.
