You don’t need a product that you have to list on eBay to sell to make money. You just have to promote eBay products on your website.
Actually, this is not only applicable to eBay. You can make money from hundreds of companies who has an affiliate program.

Write a Product Review on Your Website.
On product reviews, you will help the visitor to decide what specific product to buy by giving them all the information they might need.
It would include the best brand of the product they are searching for, the best model, for what specific use the model is for and of course, you have to give them information where to buy it.
The Specific Product Banner (the TV) will be posted on your product review page. This is your link to eBay.
This is how you monetize your review. Once you gained the trust of your customers, they will click on the banner (the TV), and they will get redirected to eBay.
If the customer buys the product or any product on eBay you will get the commission.
Post a Specific Product Banner on Your Website.
A specific product banner is a banner featuring a particular item on eBay. A specific product banner is intended for specific product reviews.
However, if the customer decided to buy another product while he entered eBay through this banner, you will still get the commission.
Product reviews convert more sales than other methods. You can put any specific product banner on your website. There are millions of products on eBay.

- Go to eBay homepage and search for your item
- Download the picture
- Click description in the middle of the page, and you will find this on the right side of the description
- Highlight and right click to copy
Log in to your eBay Partner Network and fill up the spaces.
- Advertiser- eBay
- Select Program to apply- eBay US
- Link type-Item ID
- Enter Item ID- The Number you got from eBay homepage
- Enter your Campaign ID- The one you have when you enroll in EPN
- Then click generate link.
Now you can preview the link ( the letters in blue) if it is correct, then copy and paste in on your post. As I have said, the codes are not working so do not use those.

Time to make money.
When your website visitor clicks on the eBay Partner Network banner or the specific product banner, that link will redirect the visitor to eBay. Once that person buys something on eBay, you get a commission. Isn’t that cool?
eBay charges the sellers selling fees. You as an eBay affiliate will get a percentage of the seller’s fee. The amount is about 50 % of the seller’s fees. On parts and accessories, it is about 70%.
Imagine how much commission you will get on big ticket items. They also pay you commissions on good traffic to eBay.
They call it Earnings Per Click as eBay will pay you if you drive good traffic to them. This additional process is extra income for you.

I’ve never actually thought about making money from eBay before. Mostly because I don’t have any rare collectible items like an original issue of an old comic or something I can sell for millions of dollars or something lol.
I have to rethink of eBay affiliate program.The price of the items listed are actually higher for my niche but there are other listings that are really a bargain. I can use this on other niche ideas. This is really something I need to start. I’d like to look more into this.

I think the angle that you suggest – that of reviews – is spot on.
The only challenge I’ve had in the past is that of writing reviews on products/services I’ve never used because I then feel the review loses its authenticity.
I just need to get over that hurdle and I’m sure I’ll start making some money from E-bay soon.

You should be honest with your reviews because that is what the customer wants. So the best thing is get the experience on things you want to make reviews. Like eBay Partner Network. I am already seeing good results out of my commissions. It is paying my Wealthy Affiliate subscription plus my website premium tools. A lot of marketer do not realize that eBay has a good affiliate program and it pays thru Paypal which is much convenient than Amazon checks.

Yes you can make money from eBay without selling anything. Just be an affiliate and start from there. The good thing about it is there is no inventory to do or worry about shipping. This is a better way to make money by automation. You can be a digital nomad if you do business this way.

SEO is not a big problem with Wealthy Affiliate. The training they provide is top notch and it works. Just try to Google some keywords, especially about the money making niche and you will find that most top ranked websites are from Wealthy Affiliate members. You just have to follow the training and you will succeed.

I’ve been running an affiliate marketing website for 3 months now and I didn’t realise there’s an eBay parner network! I have been focussing on the Amazon affiliate program so far. What does the commission % from eBay look like compared to Amazon?
In my experience, I would always trust a product more if I purchase from Amazon than if I found it on eBay, so I expect that means it’s easier to convert a sale from an Amazon click through? What do you think?

They offer about the same percentage of commission. They have a promotion now which doubles the commission.What I like about eBay Partner Network is that they pay through Paypal. I find it more convenient than Amazon checks, It is also easier to get approved on eBay.

I wouldn’t have thought of using eBay as an affiliate program. When I started with affiliate marketing, I assumed Amazon would be the main source of my income, however I will explore this option as well. Not to be too critical – but I found the post to be quite lengthy. I feel like you should maybe have the eBay content and the Wealthy Affiliate content as two separate posts.

I work mostly with Amazon for my website, but I didn’t know that you could make money on eBay without having to sell anything. Something that I personally find rather difficult to do, because most of the stuff people will sell on eBay in my niche for my site are more expensive than what you may find anywhere else.

I find some products from eBay are cheaper than in Amazon. Yes being an affiliate with eBay will make you money.Yoy do not have to bother about stocking or shipping. AS long as you have a running website with a good traffic you are in business.

This is really an amazing post, very useful information, I did not know that I could use Ebay to make money this way, I will surely join but I don’t think it’s so hard to get approved on Amazon, I remember when I submitted my site and I was able to use banners right away, maybe this has changed?
