Is pay per click Clixsense a scam? Let me explain. I have been searching online for platforms that offer a potential to make money. I have tried a lot of them.
The desire to be financially successful and having a lot of free time to do what we want to do in life is common to most of us.
Most of us who have that desire tried to find ways on the internet. I tried the same path.
Is Clixsense a Scam?
Definitely not. It is one of the most successful Pay Per Click sites online. I became a premium member as it is cheap to upgrade.
Yearly subscription is only $17. Well, most of the pay per click sites like Clixsense are not scams. For what it is, trying to make money out of pay per click sites like Clixsense is tough.
You will never attain your goal financially, and your dream to do what you want to do in your life will never happen. Clixsense is not a scam, but I think it is a waste of time.
What is Clixsense and How Does it Work?
It is a website that recruits members to do small tasks, but primarily to view ads. Easy job to do but the money paid is too little. The maximum is $.02 per click. The members click on ads, and if they like it, they might buy.
Who’s paying them? The publishers are looking for traffic to their websites. It is a cheap way of advertisement for them.
They consider the members as potential customers. Since the advertisers pay a small amount, then the members are also paid very little money.
The Money Is In the Referrals
So if you want to take any chance at making money with Clixsense, it is through the referral program. It is like a Multi Level Marketing.
That’s kind of what it is exactly. Well, that’s the only way you would be able to make any decent earnings. You would really need to promote, then market your affiliate link.
You have to get loads of traffic and get people to sign up. Then your referrals would have to be actively clicking on ads for you to earn some commissions.
Then you only get paid a few cents per click? Tough luck. You’re going to need thousands and thousands of referrals in your network just to make a few bucks per month consistently.
This kind of business is definitely a waste of time for me. There should be other businesses out there that are better than working on this platform.
Clixsense Pros
It is very easy to join Clixsense. You don’t even need a website and It is very easy to start earning. You just have to view ads, and you get paid for it.
Clixsense Cons
It will never be enough even if you have thousands of referrals under you, so your financial goals will not materialize. Even if you make surveys and other stuff offered on the pay per click sites like Clixsense, it will just take your precious time because the payment is way too small.
To date, I have only made a few bucks. I got one referral, but I only earned $.03 commissions from his earnings.
Conclusion
So this is my opinion about Clixsense. You can also advertise on Clixsense and pay just a little money to get people to click on your ads in hopes they will buy your product.
But again, you are most likely going to be disappointed even as an advertiser, because people that are clicking on your ads are just trying to sit through them to make money.
They will not be interested in your ads unless it is for another PPC ads that will make them earn more money by clicking more ads.
This is not the way to get any kind of high converting traffic. There are other methods to generate income online. People falls into the habit of doing shortcuts to fast and easy money, and it is what makes them victims of websites that offer them something, but in reality, it is not what it seems to be.
Is Clixsense a scam? No, I don’t think it is a scam, but it is just a waste of time while there are other platforms that offer better chances of making money online.

Hey, I am with Wealthy affiliate and Clixsense also. Is Clixsense a scam? I would like to know. Wealthy Affiliate was a better choice for me. The free option was great to start out with because I did not know what the community was about. But after experience everything I upgraded to premium. This is an investment for me, not really looking to quit my day job but the potential is there to work full time from WA if I ever change my mind.

In Clixsense you don’t need a website to earn, you just click ads, participate in online surveys, do microtasks, straight and simple but you are paid very very low. In Wealthy Affiliate, the community will teach you how to build your own website and help you run your online business whatever that may be.
You can turn your passion into an idea (niche)for your own business. Once you have a website you can earn money by being an affiliate of Wealthy Affiliate and get commissions once somebody joins Wealthy Affiliate through your referral links. Other affiliate programs out there like Amazon will give you commissions once somebody clicks an ad from your own website and buys it Amazon. You can run ads on your own website and earn money as well. You can do specific product reviews and get paid. The list goes on…

I for one get paid every week with ClixSense and I have to do no clicking at all. I agree with you that it does take a downline that does click so I share ClixSense with my Friends who absolutely have no money for programs such as Wealthy Affiliate which I promote and love.
Friends who use sites such as ClixSense then build up to be able to afford sites like WA are forever grateful and they also know that they earned their way.
Of course I don’t actively promote sites like CliXsense and others as much as sites such as Wealthy Affiliate but I do have those sites that are free for Friends who have zero money to invest.
ClixSense of course is not the only free site that I promote and while I agree with you that most traffic exchanges aren’t legitimate I have found a handful that I do trust and utilize almost daily.

I agree, the lure to quit your job is great. There are a lot of scams out there, and if you’re not careful, you might put yourself in a really bad situation that chains you to your job even longer.Is Clixsense a scam ?
I heard of wealthy affiliate and did a little research myself. I couldn’t find a single bad review! They really pride themselves on education, and I hear the community is great! That might be a good start for people who are looking for some kind of supplemental income.

Never heard of Clixsense, but thanks for the heads-up article! Is Clixsense a scam? I think there are just so many of these PPC sites out there along with other sites promising significant income from surveys and such but in actuality provides next to nothing. These sites really make it hard for those that are honest and give opportunities to those that are looking of it.

Clixsense is not a scam. It is a waste of time, though. I joined Wealthy Affiliate last May 20, 2016. I am on this for just 15 days. Look what I have accomplished so far. I have already three websites running. I started from zero, without any knowledge at all on how to build a website let alone run an online business.

I’ve been a member of clixsense for nearly seven years now and it’s definitely not a scam. These days I have a huge downline there that gives me about $50 a week – can’t complain at that!
What people have to realize is that it’s just for bumping up your weekly wage – not from making a living from. A great little site that always pays on time (great site to promote as well)!

I’m a fellow member of Wealthy Affiliate (WA), and like you, I believe this is an awesome program!
Here are some of my thoughts.
FREE VS. PREMIUM (paid)
WA is completely “Free” for for as long as you like. Though you cannot host a website whose domain name you own (or buy through WA or any other registrant) with the free version, you can transfer a free website to a purchased domain name later on.
Starting with the free membership is an excellent way to check out the program, do some trainings, meet people in the WA community, and then later decide whether or not to advance to the Premium Membership (that’s what I did!).
SITE HOSTING
Wealthy Affiliates is an excellent program, even if you simply used them as a site hosting platform. I spent comparable amounts of money to other hosting platforms (including HostGator) and did not receive ANYTHING like the training and support I get from WA.
SITE SECURITY
Additionally, WA offers advanced site security as part of the program. When I had my site through HostGator, my site was infected with malware, and I had to hire an outside agency to clean up my site.
TRAINING
I started out with the free membership myself. I was VERY skeptical! But after just a couple of weeks, I “pulled the trigger” and became a Premium (paid) member. The training alone was worth the price! I had learned more in just 2 weeks through WA than I had previously working with WordPress for more than 6 years!
WA COMMUNITY
And as you also point out, the support community is awesome at WA! It’s literally a group of supporters helping each other become successful. And the membership is ALWAYS very generous. You can ask questions one-on-one, through a forum, or check out the hundreds of excellent trainings created by fellow members (and then create your own trainings to share with others!).
TRY IT OUT! FREE!
And it’s absolutely fantastic that anyone at any level can “test drive” Wealthy Affiliate for absolutely free. I’ve checked out a few other types of offers, and am bombarded with bombastic claims, videos that don’t really answer any questions (just trying to “sell” me on their product), and then asked to put the money down to finally “get the answer” to how to succeed. None of that happens at Wealthy Affiliate! In fact, you can stay in the FREE membership for as long as you like, and even earn commissions promoting WA on your own! So you can get the money before you step up to a Premium Membership.
CONCLUSION
So, in parting, let me say that anyone THINKING about checking out the many advantages, opportunities, and features offered by Wealthy Affiliate should absolutely do so. After all, since it’s free, there is very little risk!
