Is Tecademics a Scam?

Updated February 6, 2018 By Den 10 Comments

Is Tecademics a scam?  No it is not. In the times of online businesses and entrepreneurship, there are endless ways to make your work simpler and efficient.  In order to do that, there are several online platforms which offer training and educational services to marketers to help them design more effective strategies for their business all through a simple laptop in their hand.

The reason why online courses are the need of the hour is that students can find their courses easily and they can study at their own schedules. Also, there is a dramatic difference in costs, so it all becomes far more convenient for students to balance their learning endeavors with their work routine.

The online learning platforms for internet marketers are in high demand as many students prefer live learning. However, like any paid online service, there are always scam sites and frauds present on the internet which are looking to grab money from unlearned users.

In today’s review, we will take a look at one such online learning service which is quite popular, but there are suspicions regarding its authenticity and online presence. We will take a look at Tecademics in our review today.

What is Tecademics?

Is Tecademics a Scam?

Tecademics is an online service for internet marketers and business owners who are looking online training in order to improve their marketing tactic for their business websites. The website offers a variety of programs for different levels of internet marketing to provide the students with a thorough understanding of the modern digital marketing dynamics.

With the knowledge of core marketing elements, marketers are enabled to create for themselves productive opportunities and help them make a stable career in online marketing. The website also claims to present highly qualified trainers to educate the students and also promises money back guarantee for these services.

The interface and introduction of the website are also quite compelling which tempts a new visitor to further look into the website.

Tecademics – A Brief Introduction

With Tecademics, the opportunities seem to be endless. The service is quite new as it only started a year ago. The interface of the website and the way information is presented seems attractive to a new user and especially those who have little knowledge about internet marketing.

However, seasoned learners and marketers have been found questioning the services of this website. There have been several scam rumors regarding this website. Therefore, it creates doubts in the minds of people who wish to avail the services from Tecademics.

While there are several services available that this website offers, here is a look at some of the things that Tecademics promises to its users and students.

  • Take live lessons and training
  • Visit the entrepreneur club and interact with marketing specialists
  • Take hands-on experience under guidance to achieve guaranteed results
  • Avail money back guaranteed features to secure

The list of features seems to be quite long, and it is presented well too. The question, however, still lies in the authenticity of these services which we shall investigate further in this article.

Tecademics Pricing

The pricing scheme of a website is a good indication whether it is a good platform  or not. Tecademics offers a money back guarantee which instead of being a plus point, may put doubts in a user mind. It is because Tecademics are not selling a product but giving training to the students. The money-back scheme may just be to attain the trust of the visitors more than anything else.

As far as pricing is concerned, there is no obvious pricing plan available. Interested users may have to get in touch with the sales and support team at the website to learn about the available prices.

From unofficial sources, it was found out that Tecademics charges $100 per month for its services.

Tecademics Features

The list of features seems to be quite long. These features are available for students who sign up at the website and are looking to avail any of the online training. Let’s take a  look at some of the packages and features on this website:

  • Employee Path

This path is ideal for young learners who are currently undergoing professional education and wish to attain more certifications and skills on the way. This package allows you to improve your skills as an employee to be able to appear more attractive an offer in front of the employers.

  • Entrepreneur Path

This path is mainly for seasoned marketers and entrepreneurs. In this package, you will come across the most advanced techniques required for online marketing. It is for business owners who wish to employ the best resources available.

  • Mentor Path

If you are a business owner and are looking to launch a new product in the market, the mentor path will guide you to the best product launch strategies. It helps you to improve your coaching and mentoring skills so that you can create a better and more efficient business team for your own business or for others.

The packages and their presentation seem to be quite interactive, and it compels a new visitor to investigate further and look into the plans available at the website.

What Users are Saying about Tecademics

To get the most honest feedback, the best place to search is the user review platform. As for Tecademics, there seem to be mixed feelings regarding the services. However, there is an inclination towards the website being not good, and you will find users warning other readers to stay away from this website.

According to one of the reviews at the official website, the website only sells you dreams. It presents information in a way like you can earn thousands of bucks in no time but in reality, it just wants your money. It is Tecademics affiliates that play a big role in this promotion.

Another reviewer pointed towards the positives of this website saying that the support staff is quite helpful and that they teach you the way to earn and make more money online. The review suggested that they are efficient in receiving and responding to customer queries.

Tecademics Pros

There are some good advantages of this website. Here are some of them:

  • You can learn directly from the top marketers and trainers in the digital world
  • Schedule flexibility ensures that you can learn on your own terms and pace
  • The website has an intuitive interface which makes it easier for new users to navigate and search for their required courses and training.

Tecademics Cons

Some of the drawbacks in this service are:

  • It is a bit too expensive.
  • The pricing is not mentioned at the website, and interested users will have to learn it through the sales teams

Is It Popular?

To get a fair and unbiased judgment over the authenticity and reputation of this website, we turn towards online review websites. The online traffic, ranking, and visitors are a good indication of a website’s popularity, and we will check that here.

SimilarWeb suggests that the recent past hasn’t been all that good for Tecademics. Its ranking has gone down in the United States, and the overall ranking is satisfactory. It currently ranks among the top 65,000 websites in the world, but surprisingly, it doesn’t have a rank among the websites of its own niche. Although the online traffic seems to have risen in the recent past, it is still fairly low as only more than 600K visitors had visited the website last month. Average visit duration is good, and the bounce rate is also manageable.

According to Alexa, the website’s ranking has been declining in the recent past. As compared to the last month, it has now left the group of top 50,000 websites in the world and currently ranks near to the 55000th spot. Although most of its traffic comes from the United States but it ranks fairly low for a popular American website. The bounce rate has increased to nearly 38% and the average visiting time has increased a little bit.

The popularity section seems satisfactory, but there still needs to be a lot of work done in order to improve the rankings and to get more traffic at the website.

Conclusion

With the large set of features and attractive information, anyone would be compelled to buy the services from Tecademics. There aren’t many reasons and evidence of this website being a scam or fraud either. However, it requires a bit of intelligence and smartness to understand whether this service really suits you or not. Firstly, it requires a hefty monthly price for the services. Since it is for the students who wish to excel and improve their current professional skills, these prices are quite high. Also, the other packages in the service may come for an additional cost.

The evidence of fruitful outcomes is also not available sufficiently. Although you can see a lot of success stories, they are available only on the official social media pages of the website. Therefore, a wiser option is to avoid Tecademics and look for lesser expensive online training options.

My Recommendation

Even if we will not consider the upsells from this platform, but their basic monthly subscription of $100 is more than double what Wealthy Affiliate is charging. In Wealthy Affiliate, there is no upsell, you get everything for $49 a month, and you even get free SSL Certificate. It is clearly a no brainer.

Thank you for bringing the Tecademics company to people’s attention. It is a bit unfair for anyone who wishes to learn this online business who are literally taken for a ride when it comes to their monthly fees. With the reputation of online marketing at stake , this sort of company conduct gives affiliate marketing a bad reputation all round.

      Hi Andrew,

Tecademics is a legit platform, the only problem is the pricing. It is very expensive. There are other platforms that are charging less than half of the monthly payments.

      Thanks for the comments,

      Den

The first red flag to me with Tecademics is the hidden price. If you have to call a sales team to get the pricing then you will undoubtedly be high pressured. In my opinion if you are selling something the price should be part of the decision process up front. You mentioned Wealthy Affiliate in your article. Do they have a free training program? Can I learn more about keywords in their training?

    Thanks

      Hi Mitch

I agree with you about Tecademics. They should have put their prices up front. Wealthy Affiliate offers free training training program. Keyword research is part of the basic affiliate marketing training you will get from Wealthy Affiliate.

      Thanks for the comments,

I just learned about this business a few days ago when I was writing an article about legitimate MLM business. According to multiplestreams, Tecademics is the 5th rated MLM business for 2017. This does seem like a legitimate business but it is very pricey. Do you know if there is a minimum sign up? Six months, Three months? Thanks for our review.

      Hi,

Tecademics is a legit business but they are charging too high. I am sure you can sign up on a per monthly basis but for a $100 a month is a way too high plus there is a very strong chance they have upsells for the different packages they are offering.

      Thanks for the comments,

      Den

So, is the site basically an online training university offering academic classes toward some kind of degree or is it training for people to succeed in online marketing? It sounds like the main website is a bit vague, and I worry that they aren’t upfront with the cost so that they can raise their prices anytime they want without new visitors or repeat visitors who haven’t checked yet being the wiser. Also, do you get access to everything they offer for $100/month or do you have to pay separately for different programs?

      Hi Grant,

Tecademics is a platform for learning online marketing. One issue about this platform is it is very expensive at $100 a month plus they are offering different packages which have potential upsells. I agree with you that the main website is a bit vague and they are not upfront with the cost and I consider this a red flag to stay away.

      Thanks for the comments,

    Hi Den,

I find it very interesting that Tecademics ranks high on the list of all websites, and not within its own niche. How odd.

I agree with you. This website called Wealthy Affiliate which you mentioned is a better option, I think. Just the price alone makes it a look like a better option. You are right, this one is a no brainier.

    Thanks for the review,

      Hi JaemiO,

Tecademics is a good training program but they are expensive. If you compare it with Wealthy Affiliate it is way out of contention.

      Thanks for the comments,

      Den
